Thanks to Maedi Prichard, the MacGarden lives again. It was a hard time for the old MacGarden since Xar left us. I was a player on the Apple ][, playing Transylvania 1, Verlassene Burg, Mystery House (I've all of them re-created to be Mac OS X native), then Choplifter. Later, on the Apple IIGS, I played Transylvania 3, BubbleGhost, Shufflepuck Café (in color!) and AppleWorks GS.

I don't like flashy graphics and I think most new games are boring and trite, so I mostly play older games.

Unofficial role: Uploading games.

Justin (aka OSX2000)

I found this treasure trove of a site a few months back when I started transforming my previously closet-bound G4 tower into a badass Classic game station. Now that she's alive again, I upload anything worthy that isn't already here.

Have been doing Mac/PC system's admin stuff since OS9 in the Cal/Nevada area. Have since moved largely over to Linux (Ubuntu) for most customer work. Am now writing a science fiction novel do to come out in the Spring.

I love PPC Macs and often have lucid dreams about an OS9-native version of the iPad (with an orange and grey plastic on it - none of that aluminum crap ;0)

I also have a special time going to the thrift store and finding CD-ROMs that are no longer available anywhere else, and I upload them from time to time. I also test some software for compatibility with 68k, PPC and Intel, whether it calls for a Classic Mac OS or Mac OS X. I also enjoy the games uploaded on this website, because well, playing and testing is my name of the game!

I have some of the missing macworld Cover Cd's which I'm currently imaging into my MDD in .img format, seems most people have .sit-ted these files? are they .img then compressed as sit format? im setting the .img to be uncompressed read only as I dont like to long term archive into encrypted or compressed formats for real long term storage, if files ever get corrupted data recovery is far worse an issue imo. My coverdiscs span both OS9 and OSX era 68k to powerpc era. 1995 upto DEC 2005, this will also reveal allot of other software im sure not yet in the Garden, im probably going to disktracker this .img library in total as a single disktracker cover disc library file and upload that first - so the disk contents are searchable, once I've imaged them.
