Guides on emulating older games

1985's Time Gal was a Japanese answer to Dragon's Lair. The laserdisc coin-op told the story of Reika Kirishima, a heroine of the year 4001 who chases a villain across the aeons while enduring slapstick pratfalls. She was one of the first original human female protagonists to visibly headline a video game (well, for some values of "original").

Tip: The directional indicators provide advance warning of which of the five buttons comes next, but the actual signal to click is an in-scene object glowing golden, accompanied by a chime.

Sushi The "Time Stop" segments, where Reika must choose between three courses of action, use images of Japanese text; if you can't read them you can memorize the correct button by its position.

My earlier upload (2nd DL) had issues. I've since replaced that upload with an good working copy. My apologies to anyone who DL'd the previous addition.

Thanks for the upload. This is rare! Though nowadays, you can play the original on Daphne Singe.
