Guides on emulating older games

v. 1.0.1

A remake of the classic Amiga soccer game Kick Off 2 made by Steve Screech, one of the creators of the original, with big help from fans that posted their ideas for the new game at KO-Gathering, ideas that later were implemented by Screech. The game still has the fast paced gameplay the original was famous for, but with improved graphics and new features such as a team editor. (MobyGames)

Toast reports the disc image as a hybrid, but the Mac and PC partitions contain the same files, but with PC-like names on the PC side. This is a Mac-only disc image.

The 2nd download is an update to v. 1.2 (but when you start the game after updating it flashes up v. 1.34 at the bottom of the screen)

Architecture: PPC (Carbonized)

Mac OS 9/Mac OS X
OpenGL hardware acceleration
OpenGL 1.2 or later

In my installation of Mac OS 9.2.2, the game would not run because suitable Game Sprockets were missing. The problem was solved when I installed GameSprockets_1.7.5v1.1
