hyper-girl is an unreleased game from which battle-girl was spun off.
The storyline would have started with the eponymous heroine split into three color-coded selves: Devil Girl (red), Broken Girl (blue), and Nature Girl (green). Each has a unique course of 50 levels to complete before they can reunite, combine into hyper-girl, and take on Chaos itself.
The leaked prototype here is Test Release 2 from December 1996. In addition to a complete set of red levels that loosely resemble the battle-girl we know, there are 25 of the ocean-themed blue levels. Broken Girl's submarine trails a line that must be looped around items to collect them, a mechanic later taken up by boogaloopers.
Despite several hints from UU that hyper-girl would be turned into a sequel, most explicitly a "Coming Soon" tag at the end of battle-girl's credits, it never saw publication.
