For Mac OS X
Emulation
Guides on emulating older games

Originally in Japanese, this 2011 game combines aspects of many old-school favorites, repackaged in a pleasantly generic new quest involving a hero with an oversized helmet. There is minimal titlescreen nor introduction, you are thrust into this world. The music is Castlevania-inspired for sure. The opening invokes Montezuma's Revenge. Hurry back, don't get lost there.

In 2020, this Mac OS X binary file compiled and brought to you courtesy of garden user thedoctor45.

Compatibility
Architecture: x86 (Intel:Mac)

OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or higher,
And an Intel processor.

The XBRZ option applies a graphics filter to smoothen the pixel edges - it's always enabled by default.

This is great, with lots of variety and boss encounters. Needs some cool screenshots. The words on the title screen "GPL2 PTITSEB" are said to be labeling a porting of the original to SDL by an Amiga user called "ptitseb". Later it was ported to Mac OS X by thedoctor45.

I cut down in size the version here over 50% by removing a large folder which didn't belong. Anybody know what the "XBRZ" Option is or stands for?
