This game works with: SheepShaver, Basilisk II,

A sequel to the Hollywood cartoon generator. Here, the characters that you script and animate are human instead of anthropomorphic.

The download below includes a preferences file which lets you mix content from both Hollywood games. The prefs file can be downloaded on its own as the 0.87 KB file in the sidebar above.

Similar games star The Simpsons, The American Girls, and Batman. There's also The TheaterGame (a black-and-white 1986 release we're still looking for a copy of.)

Architecture: 68k

I have uploaded the game to MacGarden with the unlocked preference file. You can also download the preference file separately (0.87 KB).

CyberMonkey, the "Unlock Hollywood" application you are talking about was used to unlock the content from the original Hollywood in Hollywood High. You had to call Theatrix in order for them to give you a unique serial based on the serial number of your Hollywood and Hollywood High copies.

As Theatrix is now defunct your only alternative is to modify the Hollywood High preference file with ResEdit and forcefully enter a working serial number combination. The preference file "Hollywood High Preferences" is located in System folder\Preferences\Theatrix Preferences\. Open it in ResEdit and double-click the CVPP square to enter the serial. You must modify the IDs as follows:

Save and you should have everything unlocked.

On the CD there is a utility by Theatrix to activate bonus material. It needs a serial code. Serial box, Surfer's serials etc don't have one. Anyone know anything about this?
