Fly a paper airplane through an obstacle-filled house by catching lift from air vents in Glider. The download above includes Glider versions 4.06 and 4.09, the Room Editor, the "More Glider" disk, as well as additional house files.
In January 2016, this game was made open source.

which also included a Windows port in the past, here are links where to still get it:

CompatibilityRequires the monitor to be capable of B/W or 16 colors. To run Glider 4 on PPC machines (or SheepShaver), use Glider 4.09.
A note about the download "GliderMacsBug"
Included above is a download for a file called MacsBug (not to be confused with the debugging software of the same name). Originally referred to in the documentation by Calhoun as "!Mission Screen Init" prior to version 4.0.5, MacsBug is an INIT file which will set aside RAM to be specifically allocated for use by Glider 4, affecting the overall speed of the program in System 6. The file must be dropped into the System Folder in order to be used. Not strictly necessary in emulation, but it will appease the warning message if nothing else. It should be noted that the INIT file does nothing in System 7 or later.
Comments
also sidenote, glider 4 was just recently ported to javascript/html5 (I think)

Honestly I have no idea how the app store works on developer sides, but I'm guessing it would have been removed due to Catalina removing all support for 32-bit apps, which Glider was. Trying to run it in Catalina just throws a typical code execution error.
What happened to the "Mac App Store" version of this game? Seems no longer to be available.
No exaggeration, I still think that this is as close to a perfect game as we are ever going to get.
Yes! I'm always happy when user content is archived. It's important, too.
It works on MacOS 9.2.2 very well too! My daughter played endlessly with this, she even created her own houses, I have many of those archived if anyone wants just ask me
I remember playing that game on an old Mac LC on Mac OS 7. What a great Macintosh piece of history.
Awesome made even better because of the level editor.
Windows version works on XP as well.
This is one of my all-time favorite games, to this very day! I actually prefer it over Glider Pro.
This game is a blast. The OS X version, Glider PRO, is even better, but doesn't run in Mini vMac.
