This is a SCUMM game (as are most FF titles) and is probably best run under SCUMMVM which is available for multiple platforms. Besides PC and Mac OSX, there are even Linux, iPhone, and Android versions. The SCUMMVM engine doesn't care if the game file was originally Mac or PC. Glad to see that the MG is including the SCUMM tag.

From an Amazon.com review:

Caution Mac users
My kids love the whole Freddi Fish series. Thankfully every title has been available for Mac. On my recent purchase of this release it arrived "PC Only" and not the "(Windows/Macintosh)" that this site claims. Since this is an old title (the first Freddi Fish) it is no longer in production. New distribution is limited to Windows only. Before ordering, ask the vendor to confirm compatibility so you don't get stuck with a version you can't use. My kids love all the Freddi Fish titles, and I'm sure this one is no exception. Now I just need to get a PC to run it on.
