Guides on emulating older games

Enigmo is a 3D puzzle game where you move various streams of flowing liquid so that the droplets get to their destination. Liquids (water, oil, and lava) fall from "droppers" and will bounce around the walls of a mechanism. You move and rotate into position various types of bumpers, sliders, accelerators, and sponges in order to divert the flow of the falling droplets. The faster you complete each level, the more bonus you will receive.

The 3rd download is the Enigmo CD-ROM distributed by MacPlay, containing Enigmo version 1.3.1. The CD also contains the following games for Mac OS 9 (Bloodsuckers, Bugdom-shareware, Firefall, Mighty Mike, Nanosaur, Weekend Warrior) and the following games for Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X (Demo or shareware versions of Bugdom 2, Cro-Mag Rally, Otto Matic). These additional games are already available in the Garden on other pages.

A version for Intel OS X is now available as freeware. The sequel, Enigmo 2, can be purchased from Pangea.

I didn't have to block the internet, because that Mac has never been hooked up to it in the first place.

If the game did phone home, it could have downloaded the list of banned codes and stored them inside itself, in its preferences file, or in some other hidden location. If that's the only system you have that can run the game, I would try to scrub everything Enigmo-related off it before unstuffing a fresh copy to register (with the internet completely disconnected).

I use netbarrier x5. I set it on no network in mac os x 10.4.11 and I used netbarrier 2.02 in mac os 9.2.2. I set on no network in mac os 9.2.2. I did not work. What do you use to block the internet to work ?

Is your Mac online? I wonder if it's contacting the official site to check the list of invalid serials, like later versions reportedly quit if they fail to do. The code worked for me on a 9.2.2/10.4 machine with no internet connectivity.
