Disney's Animated Storybook Pocahontas is an adventure that kids can be a part of:

Explore the Powhatan village and the English settlement.
Play games with Meeko and Flit. Dig for gold, board a ship and stop a war.
Grandmother Willow reads the story and each word is highlighted as it is pronounced, encouraging reading confidence and comprehension.
Click on objects or your favorite characters to discover new things and increase vocabulary.
Use the Action Dictionary to learn the meaning or words through animation.
Play four fun skill-building games like Hoops and Arrows or help Flit spear berries before Meeko eats them all. Games can enhance with memory and concentration skills.
This is a great story packed with wonderful graphics that kids 3+ can interact with for hours of fun.

These are hybrid CD-ROMs for PC & Mac.

Installation hints for Mac:
No installation required, runs directly from CD-ROM.
If you're using RamDoubler, please use version 1.5.2 or newer.
On 68k Macs, it needs a "largest unused block" of 3800 kB RAM
On PPC Macs, it needs a "largest unused block" of 4105 kB RAM

Installation hints for PC:
Locate SETUP.EXE on the CD-ROM and run it
After installation, locate "Pocahontas" in the Program Manager and run it.
It is highly recommended to use SmartDrive or other windows compatible drive cache applications

Common hints:
Requires at least a 640x480 display with 256 colors.

The comment below belongs to the German version.

Regarding the Dutch version, read this:
At the title screen, when the word "Engels" appears on the screen, click "Ja" (which means "Yes") to play in English, or "Nee" (which means "No") to play in Dutch.

The first question after running the game is: "Do you want to hear the story in a different language? Englisch?" If you want to hear the story in english, select "Ja", which means "Yes". During the game, press the tabulator key to switch between the languages included in the game.

I can't run this in Basilisk, Mac OS 8.1 installed. Shows a black screen only.
