In Darkest of Days the player controls Alexander Morris, a soldier fighting in General Custer's battalion during the Battle of Little Big Horn at the beginning of the game. After Custer is killed and Morris is wounded he is suddenly rescued by a man in futuristic armor and taken through a strange portal. Morris then awakens in the headquarters of Kronotek, an organization that has managed to develop time travel technology and is apparently dedicated to researching and protecting history. A Kronotek higher-up known as "Mother" tells Morris that Doctor Koell, the organization's founder, has gone missing and disturbances have started appearing through history, causing individuals that have played key roles in history to be placed in danger, and tasks Morris with helping Kronotek restore history. Downloads 1 - 5 are the parts of a zipped archive of a cracked version 1.0.5 of the game. To combine the parts and unzip the archive, first place all the parts together in a folder or on the Desktop, then drag the .001 file to The Unarchiver.
Version 1.0.5 requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 and seems to be compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion). There is an update to version 1.0.6 that gives Lion compatibility to v. 1.0, but the links to both 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 updates on The Patches Scrolls point to the 1.0.6 update. I have not uploaded the 1.0.6 update here as it cannot be used with the cracked v. 1.0.5.

The game is no longer sold by the publisher. Furthermore, the Mac App Store no longer sell it and the digital download from Amazon does not work, according to an Amazon customer who attempted to buy it. Steam only sell the Windows version. However, if you do obtain an original digital or boxed version of the game then you will be unable to play either of them without on-line activation: I do not know whether the activation servers are still operating, but I doubt it.
