Arkanoid, Breakout type shareware game. You must remove all of the diamonds from the playing area by hitting them with the ball. Creepy mines has some surprises for you: Ventilo, big paddles, Mootshik, dropdowns to catch with the paddle.
Top DL: Creepy Mines version 1.2
2nd DL: Creepy Mines version 1.41 – Final release version in 1.x series of game. New in this version: Mac OS 9 memory bug fix, resource bug fix, final level codes fix.
Registration code:
A4XDAN/LABK4I5/B8HYIHYZY
Note: The above codes do not work with version 1.41 (also untested by me in earlier 1.2 version).
CompatibilityNote: The minimum specs given for the game are perhaps based on what machine the developer was using at the time to build and test the game on and not the actual minimum PPC Mac this game will run on. YMMV.
It runs OK on SheepShaver emulating a PowerMac 9500/200 with SheepShaver set to windowed mode (not full screen mode) and with an 800 x 600 display setting (see screenshots above).
The game launches to a blank black screen and takes time to begin loading the game, giving an impression that the game is broken.
Takes a long time for the game to load in SheepShaver. Wait a while for the language flags to appear and for the game to eventually get past loading credits.

A GREAT Breakout Game! BTW if you register with the 1.2 version, you can then use the 1.41 with no problem.
