maybe with some sort of color emulation program
I've since looked at DL #2 (BIN/CUE) - It has the game for both 68k and PPC Macintosh + full sound track.
DL #1: = 68k encoded, only
DL #2: = 68k and PPC encoded, suitable for both platforms
is there any way to get this working on a monochrome dsiplay
so can someone fix this error and maybe post the requirments
Currently, the "Architecture" setting in the page is erroneously marked as PPC. DL #1 above is actually a 68k encoded game, only, which I am sure plays just fine on PPC Mac's too. But it is a 68k game.
I haven't looked into the BIN/CUE of DL #2 to determine what it's architecture actually is, but DL #1 is 68k.
So then, in answer to your question. Here it is.
Looking at the file size at MacGUI and the DL #1 on this page, they look suspiciously like they are the same file.
What about the 68k version i can not seem to find it anywhere accept mac GUI and there link is down for me for some unknown reason and yes i have a account
Thank you, Katie Cadet!
Thanks, Katie Cadet! I lost my original CD years ago and was hoping someone would upload the original disk, music and all.
Thanks, Katie Cadet!
My BIN/CUE copy of the original 1997 CD of Sid Meier's Civilization II is now uploaded! Hopefully this should preserve the Mac partition (as well as all of the supplemental multimedia content) and the audio tracks correctly. I used ImgBurn on Windows Vista to do that!
I have the original 1997 CD of Sid Meier's Civilization II. I might make a BIN/CUE of it and upload it to the internal server if I have the time. We'll see!
I also ran the game from my original copy fine on my eMac G4 1.25 GHz running Mac OS X 10.3.8 with Classic Environment installed, and I encountered no issues. Also, this is the first time I made screenshots on my eMac and uploading it to this page as a test, and it worked! Maybe I will upload more screenshots of my software that I upload as I go through them. But for now, that should be enough from me!
