Guides on emulating older games

You haven't seen your brother Malcolm since he received his fellowship at Biblioll College - pressure of work was his excuse not to come down to London. So when you received that telegram from him you leapt at the excuse to come up to the university town of Christminster for the day and visit him.

An Interactive Fiction game based on Z-Code (yes, the one the Infocom folk used) yet stand-alone thanks to MaxZip. It includes a help system (type "help" in-game) with a list of commands and helpful hints when you get stuck.

I haven't tested this on anything other than 9.2.2, runs fine though. Since it's from '95, I think we can safely assume it's compatible with System 7 and 8 as well, needs testing though.

(Fortunately) there are hundreds of z-code games like this, not at all Mac specific. Rather than overwhelm ourselves, we probably ought to simply link out to the z-machine home pages, because I'm certain those guys could use the 'hits' on their web pages, for inspiration and motivation.
