The third volume of the "So I've Heard" series begins with an explosion - the musical upheavals brought about by the innovations of Ludwig van Beethoven - and follows the unfolding of the Romantic movement through the compositios of Schubert, Chopin, and Brahms. "So I've Heard" uses CD-ROM technology to create informed, witty guides to classical music. Each volume contains Alan Rich's tour of over 40 performances of some of the world's greatest music. - description taken from the box
Comes as a bin-cue image. Please burn with Toast (or similar) to make a CD that contains both Mac and PC partitions as well as the audio tracks.

I have now uploaded a bin-cue image (created from the files provided) that produces a CD that mounts on both Mac and PC. I have tested its execution on a Mac (OS 9.2.2) but am unable to test it on a PC (apart from mounting) as my version of Windows is not old enough. However, I believe it will be OK assuming that the PC partition in the SIH file above is complete.
This page needs cleaning up.
The SIH toast file is indeed a hybrid, and both partitions mount for me under Mac OS 9.2.2. So the img file can be safely deleted if you wish.
I have just made a bin-cue image that combines the hybrid Mac/PC partitions with the audio tracks and will upload shortly
"I hope someone can tell about .ncd format."
I recognize that format it is used by Dragon Burn (similar to Toast).

I test my (attempted to be) hybrid CD images either in DOSBox or Windows emulation.
I hope someone can tell about .ncd format.
The Key Gourmet contains both Mac & PC partition, good work.
Hello
I have tried making images using toast, can anyone please confirm that the image contains both Mac and Win partitions on Key Gourmet?

I have tried using Toast 11 and saving the file as bin-cue and as a toast file.
My problem is that it ONLY saves the data not audio.
How can I confirm that it copies both win and mac data?
Only the Mac partion will mount.
I found a program called DragonBurn it seems to save both data and audio but saves the image in .ncd format?
Yes, I will remake all hybrids I have ordered a cd / dvd drive for my iMac
I second this, please.
Thanks OZ1SMB. I can see from the discussion relating to National Geographic that you do not have the equipment to make a bin-cue image. That is OK as I can construct one from what you have provided. However, to make an accurate image, I need the application partition to be imaged as a hybrid as this CD should be playable on both Mac and PC. Can you please redo the image of the application (non-audio) partition along the lines that you plan for the National Geographic CDs
Despite the purchase link above, this CD is no longer for sale by the publisher which ceased to exist ages ago. If you have a copy of this CD, please make a bin-cue image of it to capture both application and audio tracks, and upload here.
