Comments
From the looks of it, yes. It's running fine on my iMac 4K (2017) running macOS Big Sur without any issues. What I did was use the existing disc image which is Mac-only (first download on the Macintosh Garden, HFS), and I used the Disc Image Merge tool (found on the Copy section) to create a Hybrid Mac/PC disc with a Windows version found on the Internet Archive (ISO 9660). I then went to my Windows 10 computers and used ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 to create the resulting ISO disc image (second download on the Macintosh Garden, both ISO 9660 and HFS), and before I did that, I noticed that version 1.0 of the Living Books titles from 1992-1993 were separate versions, but the version 1.1 releases from 1994 were hybrid. I thought I should do the same with the Barbie and her Magical House title, and make a custom Hybrid Mac/PC disc image so that there is no need to burn them separately, whether it is a Mac-only, or a Windows-only. And yes, Toast Burn (Mac App Store release) can read existing HFS Standard disc images without any problem, even on the latest Big Sur.
Is the Mac AppStore Toast application a reliable piece of software?
Otherwise, I don't want to loose Toast 10 because of its ability to create HFS Standard volumes,
but need to look forward as well.
Uploaded a custom Hybrid Mac/PC release of Barbie and her Magical House.
