Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, developed by BioWare and released September 26, 2000, is the second computer role-playing game in the Baldur's Gate series, which takes place just a few months after the events of Baldur's Gate. It is based on the 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons role-playing system. The story is set in the Forgotten Realms, the most popular D&D story setting. It has sold over 2 million units. An expansion pack for the game was released in 2001, entitled Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. (Wikipedia)

Re: .sit files not extracting properly, I've found something odd. I only downloaded the update files (because I own the game on disk, but my drive with the updates got wiped out a few weeks ago), and on my Windows 10 machine I have StuffIt 8 Standard.
The two bgii_1.1.2_*.sit files both expand in any manner you choose, whether it's right click->Expand, or opening the archive and extracting from there... but bgii_tob_2.1.2_.sit, not so much. It turns out that in order for me to successfully extract from that file, I have to:
Anything else fails with "unknown error 3". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(My Mac has StuffIt 10, but I haven't tried opening bgii_tob_2.1.2_.sit there yet.)
The 6th download (bgii_1.1.2_osx.sit) unpacks OK for me (no error/warning msgs) with Stuffit Expander 15.0.7
the 6th upload not extracted fully (unarchiver, betterzip). Broken file?
Thank you very much, mrdav !
I have downloaded your provided images of the 5 CDs. They mount and work without any trouble.
At its time, "Mac OS X: Any version" was correct.
-------Up to 10.6 (Rosetta) ?----
No idea. Someone else wrote this.
Thanks.
Up to 10.6 (Rosetta) ?
I have provided new download links. Enjoy.
Yes, please, and a non-piratebay d/l link.
Can someone provide some working CD images of this game, please ?
The DiscCopy6 .img images provided at www.macdomain.org are not all valid (only valid CD images: CD 1, CD 2 and Addon-CD: Throne of Bhaal).
Someone, who has got the game CDs, should re-image them.
A better format for CD images would be .toast images, I think, if there are no CD-RedBook-Audio tracks.
Dy-no-mite!
Disk Copy6 images of the disks can be found here:

The .DMGs in the torrent aren't recognized and they couldn't be converted to toast.
Then it's probably Lord... like Lord of Terror, Destruction, etc
Not sure about the origins of Bhaal, sounds like a curry dish. Maybe it came from the european interpretation of Baal.
We all know Diablo is a spanish word.
Baal is Hebrew, for Lord or Master, in relation to religious deities.
Hey Bilfron, try mounting the discs from Toast, that ended up working for me
I don't know if this is happenening to anyone else, but whenever I try to start the game, it says that I should insert CD 2 into the drive. I tried it with all the discs mounted, and have installed the content on discs 1,2,3, and 4. has anyone else had any trouble like I have, or know how to fix it?
That was Baal, without the H. In the ancient Middle East, there were several deities called that way. This one is a Dungeons & Dragons deity (Baldur's Gate is set on D&D's Forgotten Realms, but this was done through licensing, so I don't think it's part of the franchise).
Wasn't Bhaal from Diablo... or is it some kind of mythic monster
