Guides on emulating older games

Slightly-edited and annotated machine translation of the description:
An ambitious work by Daizaburo Harada, who was a companion to Haruhiko Shono, formerly of Radical TV [Japanese video-art group]. It is a biological breeding program based on AL theory. When you explore the planet, collect the creatures there, adjust the amount of light in the breeding machine and breed it, a mysterious insect that you have never seen grows while undergoing several stages of evolution. The collection is done on a CD-ROM, and the breeding uses a program installed on the hard disk. Books are also included in the package. It's quite difficult to breed and often die, but once you get the hang of it, you'll quickly reach the final evolution. It's a unique work, and the material is interesting, but the drawback is that it's easy to get bored.

It is a game where the goal is to capture and breed insects.
It is probably in Japanese and runs on IBM PC with i386 that has MS-DOS 5 or older, or Windows 3.1 or older.
That is what I could figure out by google translating the readme file, since I happened to have TextMate which lets you switch to Japanese Shift JIS character set for gimmicks.
If you happen to be interested in trying to emulate an old Japanese game to get a culture shock, I'd say this game is for you.

Sounds quite interesting! Can't seem to run it on the Classic environment, and even then, the text is mojibake if your OS isn't Japanese.

Could someone tell us what it is exactly? (I don't have my PPC laptop with me right now)
