I remember trying to play a colour version of this in the late 1990s, a few months before they cancelled the integration. It was tied to AOL, and I ran it on Windows. They had really short username requirements as your pilot ID, just three or four letters, I think.

Jonathan says they "could support 500 players in a single mission. Heady stuff for 1996."

this would be a interesting revival for @fogwraith to take on for the Macintosh Garden multiplayer servers
