Air Warrior was a multiplayer air-combat game for use with the defunct GENIE Information Service. No use other than being archived for historical reasons.

I remember trying to play a colour version of this in the late 1990s, a few months before they cancelled the integration. It was tied to AOL, and I ran it on Windows. They had really short username requirements as your pilot ID, just three or four letters, I think.

For restrospectives by a player named Roger Edwards, and by Jonathan (the latter of whom says "I was the producer and designer for Air Warrior from '93 to '99 and shepherded it from its origins in '86 on the GEnie network to the larger online world."), see:

Jonathan says they "could support 500 players in a single mission. Heady stuff for 1996."
