TechTool Pro 3 "Classic" abandonware?

I recently entered Micromat site and noticed that they created new TechTool 6 and redesigned the site. Then I entered into Products, Support and Store sites and I cannot find any information about TechTool Pro 3 for Classic. Does it mean, that it's now abandonware?

Version 3 is still on their website, but they do not make a sales offer anymore:

However, it might be that they still sell it upon individual request.

They haven't written any information. I will ask them about selling upon request by email.

PS. Even TechTool 3 support forum disappeared.

I sent a message...:

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to ask for some information about ordering TechTool Pro 3 for Mac OS 9 and older.
It has been removed from Micromat pages(Store, Support and Forum) recently. Is it still possible to buy(or buy and download) it from Micromat directly, if there is any copy left in the warehouse(Box version)? Will there be any updates in the future, or it's discounted?

I would greatly appreciate if you could send me some information.

Yours faithfully,

... and got respond:

Micromat does have the TechTool Pro 3 software available through our Sales Department directly by calling (707) 566-3831.

The last version of TechTool Pro 3 is version 3.0.9 - it will not be updated any further.

Sincerely,

So it won't be updated in the future, but it's still available to get one directly from developer. It means, that it isn't abandonware, right?

If you can still buy it from them, then yeah. It's not "abandonware" because it isn't "abandoned." They just no longer advertise the product and no longer provide tech support for it.

However it seems, that it will be abandonware, when(or if) they sell their last CD's. I doubt that they're still manufacturing this.
