Program for old games less than 256 colours

Is there a program that i can use on my Power Mac 7500/100 or on my Imac G3 so i can play older games that use 16 or less colours like Police Quest 1, Space Quest 1,2,3 etc?

You could try Basillisk2 at Emaculation, which is linked on the friends list. Even of that does not work, there are other emulators on that site with instructions!

Yeah, thought Basilisk II might help OP, but how fast is it on an iMac G3 ?

Saving grace might be the vintage kit he/she is using, if the PM7500/100 runs Mac OS 7.5, it'll switch to any colour setting you want

What bertyboy said works. What OS are you running on that powermac? Can't you just switch the number of colors yourself?

You have two options:

Install an older version of MacOS on your powermac. Mac OS 7, maybe.

Or, use an emulator on ANY newer machine. Basilisk II will install on any modern Macintosh machine or Windows machine and will run your games with no problems. What's your main system?
