Minor updates

Yesterday some might of have noticed quite a few interruptions, continuing on today, and if you're finally back on here to read this; congratulations.

The idea was to provide HTTPS access along with the regular HTTP, but it seems that it will take plenty more work to get it to actually work in a sensible way that it is accessible for everyone - including those that use older browsers. In a way, it kind of worked with old browsers, not that much with very old browsers... and pretty good with newer ones, even though there seems to have introduced a bug or two.

So.. it has now been disabled until further notice, and most likely there will be those that can not access the site without cleaning out the cache (the browsers will try to force its way through https instead of http). There will be a proper redirection in place soonish.

In other news, there has been a few code changes to the core, and if anyone hits a wall somewhere along the way, please report it Smile

FF 45.0.1 chokes on this but Safari 9.1 plays ball. All of this under 10.10.5

Try cleaning the cache and history under newer browsers, as these tend to ignore common sense and hammer away at https on a site once they've had a taste for it. (don't forget to close the tab for the site first)

That was ye folks! Classilla v9.2.2 on Mac OS 8.6 was not at all happy. It kept throwing up an error 8163 (or something like that).
