MacNosy in Sheepshaver?

Does anyone know if Steve Jasik's disassembler MacNosy runs in Sheepshaver?

I believe there's been past discussion on these forums about his debugger, which is known not to work under emulation, but the disassembler could be a useful tool in itself if it works.

The last version of MacNosy runs well in Mac OS 9.2.2 on QEMU, where I use the -M mac99,via=pmu and -cpu G3 options. Jasik still sells MacNosy for $99 if you ask nicely. He's very helpful, and he accepts PayPal.

MacNosy probably works under -cpu G4 mode as well. I tend to use G3 for classic Mac OS as it's a bit faster. As long as the Altivec emulation depends on software emulation of floating point for accuracy, running apps with Altivec instructions under QEMU's G4 emulation will be substantially slower than emulating a G3.

If you need help building QEMU yourself, James Badger has a nice guide. Emaculation has compiled binaries for Windows and Mac OS X, which aren't too hard to find on their forums.

Thanks, Duality! It's good to hear it works in Qemu! Even though most of my testing will be in Sheepshaver, I'm happy to know it will run under an emulator since I don't currently have a classic Mac.
