HELP!!!! my iPhone 4S cables cord will not stay in the 30pin connector

ok so my 30 pin charger started acting funny it will not charge my phone or my iPod Nano 3rd gen so i tried looking at the white cable leading up to the cables 30 pin connector and it was not staying attached to the connector it was loose i am not sure what to do does anybody here no what to do there is no info online for this i could find

To be clear, the cable appears to be the problem, right? At the very least, a cable replacement will be way cheaper than fixing your iOS devices Shock usually, I get a replacement since repairing a cable is usually not very doable/practical.

the only sure-fire one I know is to, in the future, make sure you have a working backup cable.. Sad

Yup -- the solution is to replace the cable. You may be able to get by with bending the clips on the edges of the connector so they hold tighter, but this could also permanently break the cable.
