Finder tool with multiple file move/delete option?

Hello World,

I have a specific problem, that I need to find a way how to remove a group of files (those w/o suffix) from within a bulk of 600+ other files (which all have a suffix).
Unfortunately all the find(er) tools I have installed thus far will show me a list of the files as needed, but only allow me to operate on them one file at a time. Now that wouldn't really help me to save any time here, compared to doing it manually.

Is there a tool available (on 68k MacOS 8.1) for that that I am missing here?

I find File Buddy to be excellent -- have a look at managing files in lists:

Thatlooks like a good tool, but I can't find an option in it to just search one specifiic folder. And I've got thousands of files on my system by now.

I can't point you to a specific answer but File Buddy does have a VERY rich filtering capability. Try dragging the folder in question into a new search list.

Aha, that is a powerful but tricky tool to use. First of, you got to stick to the buttons of the app window to manipulate the search results. Trying to use the like named menu items will get you nowhere.
And to restrict the search to a specific dir, one has to choose option "The item's name contains <…>" and then use "Restrict search to …"

FileBuddy is a prime example of vintage tools that had all the functionallity of their modern day counterparts - but the GUIs were designed by Geeks for Geeks. Actually, I doubt the developer did much beta testing with unwitting user to begin with. Laughing out loud
