Downloads!

Some / most of you might of have noticed a slight layout change on the apps / games pages where there is now a MAIN and MIRROR link, and some minor misc changes.

The pages will eventually be slightly modified again, but for now they will do.

In any case, back to the point here, the mirror link is located in the US, so many of you will get better speeds from there. We have Pixlgeek to thank for this (big thank you!)
For brand new uploads, there may be a delay before the mirror link is available, until then you will get a nice 404 error message.

I'll probably make some tiny changes when I have time, to show / hide the mirror link wether or not a download is available.

Updated
Corrected a tiny bug, where filenames would be different on main and mirror server, preventing downloads from the mirror.

Speaking of site improvements, do you think you could add a section on this site for QLGenerators (QuickLook Plugins) & MDImporters (Spotlight Plugins)? There are so many of them out there on the internet that I think they deserve there own category.

Entire sections, like "games" and "apps" are their own? Or just pages with collections?

I meant just adding a new category for the two under the "apps" section. There's no need to create an entire section for them. But yes, from the various pages I've seen (like this one: http://www.quicklookplugins.com/ ) there are so many of these things that I personally think they deserve their own category, just for organization.

The US mirror will be down for a bit while failing hardware is replaced.

Do you mean the Mirror (us) ?
If so, they are hidden to mass people that don't know to the forum and twitter

The problem still seems to persist on some pages. The entire app section has broken links and no pictures!

Yes, I have the same problem. I have tried three different browsers, cleared caches....nothing works.

It seems to pop up with a PHP error, fixed and will see if it breaks again

Along the same lines, all of my clicks on the US mirror download button produce a:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access ...

error.

This is because the mirror is down for the time being due to faulty hardware, it will return once fixed

I can see stuff again! Thanks, fog. I can access denied when I tried to look at revisions, but that's not a big deal right now.

Try to edit the pages and see if that solves it, I too get the same issue (might of have been due to the recent error)

Pretty much all issues resolved for now, unless you've found something in particular that needs special attention... mail me if you have found something that needs fixing
