The Campus Software Set for Macintosh is especially designed to help you make the most of your new Apple Macintosh computer. Whether you're using your Macintosh for work or play, these programs will help you get started the right way! These 7 software programs will help you organize your finances, track down lost files, keep your days on schedule—not to mention relax and have some fun—along with much more. And this kit contains software manuals or electronic documentation for each program, in case you have any questions.

Seven programs are included in this bundle: Macintosh PC Exchange, Managing your Money by MEGA Software, Retrieve It! by Claris Clear Choice, After Dark Starter Edition by Berkeley Systems (installs After Dark 2.0x), artWorks by Deneba Software, Far Side Daily Planner by Delrina Corp., and Spectre by Velocity Development Corp.

Architecture: 68k

Deneba Software's artWORKS appears to be "time expired", but may be installed and used OK.

artWORKS suffers from the same time bomb that Deneba Canvas v3.5 has. This can be cured by using a simple ResEdit hack.
Alternatively; a patch has been created to fix this time bomb: located here.

Disk 8 seems to be a folder not a disk image?

Edit: created a disk image from folder 8 and we as able to install and patch.

Hi krausjxotv, thanks for the 1992 tip. That is the crux of it. You can set the date back to 1992 before installing, and artWorks will load up correctly and run.

However once you have your Mac back into the actual date and time, it fails with that error given below. So, it is time bombed, in that you must set the clock back if you ever wanted to run it. But it does work...

In-post screenshots: fogWraith has set up this nifty Macintosh Garden Image Hosting site, and we can upload pics for use in our posts here or anywhere. Gratis, neat and easy to use.

[Edit] The time bomb is no more!

I discovered that it has the same time bomb as Canvas 3.5 and it's an easy ResEdit fix.

No more resetting of the clock required. Smile

What is the date? I have mine set to 1992. How do you add images to a message? I know how to use an img tag but where is your image located?

My PowerBook 540c has 12MB of memory. Could too much memory cause a problem?

During application startup hold down the space key. This will open a dialog to select which add-ons are active.

Thanks for the screenshots, krausjxotv (nice to see a working 540c screen). It is good to see that it does work.

I've tried it on a couple of OS's now, 7.6.1 and 7.1.1, both giving the same error...

Time expired & info /Location code:

So far it's not working for me. I seem to be hitting the same error someone else reported on the artWorks page.

On a Power Macintosh 5260/100 running Mac OS 7.6.1 I get out of memory and freeze/crash with Deneba artWorks. But it works on a PowerBook 540c running Mac OS 7.5.
