Spell Catcher 8 is a universal spell checking application; it works in all programs, using a single set of reference files. It's comprehensive, with one of the largest integrated spell checking, thesaurus, and definitions dictionaries available. It's also multilingual, with 8 different language spelling dictionaries, and additional ones available upon request.

You can spell it right with the extensive US English, UK English, French, Canadian French, German, Swiss, Spanish, and Italian spelling dictionaries, and enhance your dictionary by importing words from other programs. Spell Catcher 8 also supports speaking the word using your Mac's voice.

Sure looks like its a much earlier version, mrdav. I suspect also that the name of the software on this page is incorrect and should be labeled "Spell Catcher" too. - Looking at the picture of the iMac screen, near the top it poses the question "What Does Spell Catcher 8 Do?"

Only assuming tho' as I haven't used either of these softwares. But as the author is the same...

We also have Spell Catcher 1.5.6
(two words rather than one word for the name). Is this part of the same series? They have the same publisher.

EDIT: Answering my own question...Must be the same series as the author is the same too.
