Have uploaded v. 2.0.2 + SN included. LIke v. 1.0.2 it will launch OK in Mac OS 9 but I haven't used it to check usability in that system.

Is ver. 2.0.2 any friendlier towards OS 9?

The latest version of the Smaller Installer Toolkit (vers. 2.0.2) is still available from the Cyclos site. It is no longer supported or licensed by them, although it does need licensing to remove "unregistered demo" watermarks from any installer you create with it.

The version 2.0.2 installer creator itself is still a 68k coded app - It does however generate FAT, PPC & 68k installers. The 1.0.2 version that is here creates 68k coded installers only, the choice of generating FAT etc, came in with version 1.1.1 and later.

this version is 68k only, and the previous was listed and being both 68k and PPC code

I recall when themacmeister uploaded a lot of stuff at one time from his collection, he marked all untested softwares as being 68k & PPC code, regardless.

PPC was maybe wrong, when MacTracker listed the first PPC machine to be introduced in 1994.

Deleted dead external link. Uploaded a copy to internal server. Added date and author. Replacement copy thanks to soudesune.

I am not quite sure if this is the same as was here before because this version is 68k only, and the previous was listed and being both 68k and PPC code.
