In 1996 Radius Inc. focused all their business to produce Edit DV, this is the evolution of Radius Edit to use the new DV format renamed as Radius EditDV, the first Digital Video Edit solution based on DV format released to the market at lower prize of 999 $ USD, and incredible price at for professional solution in 1997, before Apple Release PowerMac G3 with build-in firewire/DV ports.
EditDV is the software solution for edit video and MotoDV was the hardware card with drivers and a standalone software only for capture.
EditDV 1.0 only works with their own DV card called MotoDV hardware, but EditDV 1.5 and up works with MotoDV hardware and standard Firewire ports of PowerMacintosh G3 and G4 computers.
