Emulation
This app works with: SheepShaver, Basilisk II,

Different QuickTime 4.x versions to be installed on classic Mac OS versions.

A note about the downloads available above:

The first download above includes english version of QuickTime 4,
Mac versions 4.0.3 (68k) and 4.1.2 (PowerPC),
as well as versions 4.0 and 4.1.2 for Windows operating system.
The 2nd download above includes german version of QuickTime 4,
Mac version 4.1.2 (PowerPC), as well as version 4.1 for Windows operating system.
The 3rd and 4th download above contains separate install folders for 4.0.3 68K (for Basilisk and System 7) and 4.1.2 PPC (for Sheepshaver). No need for Toast - just download, decompress and install.
The 5th download above contains the QuickTime 4.1 Showcase PC/Mac-CD (German)
The 6th download is the QuickTime 4 Showcase and Installation PC/Mac-CD
The 7th download contains the original SMI images from Apple's download page for QuickTime 4.0.3 in all available languages which are: North American, International English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean. Please note: I was not able to mount the SMIs by double-clicking. I was able to mount them by clicking "Expand" in the Menu-Bar-Icon from StuffIt Deluxe 5.5
The 8th through 21st download contains the different languages of QuickTime 4.0.3 seperated. Repackaged to simple read-only IMGs using DiskCopy 6.3.3

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC

Motorola processor type 68020 or newer,
Mac OS 7.1.1 or newer,
8 MB RAM to be used with 68k processor types,
16 MB RAM to be used with PowerPC processor types.

SheepShaver cannot use version 4.0 (except 4.1.x)

Added every language of QuickTime 4.0.3 I found after searching for the german version for three hours straight.

QuickTime 4.1.2 played the videos sluggish on a Power Macintosh 6100/66 running Mac OS 8.1, but worked fine on a Power Macintosh 7500/100 running both Mac OS 8.1 (before the OS upgrade) and Mac OS 8.6 (current). I used the QuickTime Sample Movie for video playback testing on certain multimedia Macintosh computers.
