Guides on emulating older applications

With the Newton Backup Utility, you can connect your Apple MessagePad or other Newton PDA to your computer and do the following:

Back up Newton information and store it on your computer.
Install packages (applications, system updates, and so on) on your Newton PDA.
Restore backed-up information to your Newton PDA.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k

Software technically runs under Basilisk II and Mini vMac II, but is in reality unlikely to connect to a Newton PDA that way.

@Jatoba: Good idea. From now on for pages like this, let's have a disclaimer but not tick the emulator compatibility boxes until meaningful functionality is confirmed.

Maybe there could be a disclaimer at the end: "software technically runs under Basilisk II and Mini vMac II, but is in reality unable to connect to a Newton PDA that way." (Assuming it can't connect.)

@AlexanderMac: The software may run in Mini vMac and Basilisk II, but is it possible to do anything useful with it?
