Not in particular. I think I just like's inherently more refined and tested nature over 4.0's. Besides that, they're pretty close to each other in terms of release date, so the feature differences aren't too great.

In any case, the official archive was the only download location for PPC, which went offline for a while. So, it seemed to be good sense to host it here, at least as a secondary location.

I took a look around, and indeed it does seem those builds weren't final.
Never went and tried them myself yet.

By chance, I noticed I have the SDK of the latest official PPC version (, so I'm uploading that now.

Edit: Done. By the way, is there anything about version that does anything different or better than the latest one,

They're development builds.

I haven't had any luck with them as far as stability goes.

More updated versions of LibreOffice for PPC exist than those uploaded here. There was a lone person working on it all by himself. I'm not sure if he's stopped doing it eventually, but he took LibreOffice for PPC a few versions further.

I'll try posting links / uploading those versions eventually, but for anyone in a hurry, you can already find them by looking it up. But I plan to get back here eventually.
