Human Atlas is an interactive CD-ROM that provides three-dimensional animated illustrations covering 150 topics that span general health to surgery. Each scientifically accurate animation is approximately one minute in length. Animations are accompanied by narration, still imagery, virtual reality models, and a text transcript. The CD can be used on both Macintosh and Windows systems. To use on a Mac, first copy the contents of the CD to a folder on your hard drive. Then extract the application from the file CMA.hqx, and open the application (CMA) .
