Guides on emulating older applications

HFVExplorer is an HFS volume browser for Windows 9x and Windows NT4+.

This project started fall 1996 as a read-only, Explorer-like viewer and launch pad for ARDI Executor HFV volume files. Since then, the program has gradually evolved to do much more than that. Most people use it to transfer files between Macintosh HFS volumes and Windows VFAT or NTFS volumes. It can also read Mac CDs and 1.44MB floppies. 400k and 800k Mac floppies cannot be read, due to the limitations of PC floppy controller.

HFVExplorer is distributed under the GNU general public license (GPL).

The 2nd download is the (very Windows-centric) source code.

HFVExplorer is known to work with all 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows, from Windows 95 to Windows 10 20H2. (NT3 is untested.)

I've had it for many years, and meant to upload it when I first found out it was apparently extinct in the wild, but... life, y'know? And then with my storage drive getting nuked by Windows, well, it made things difficult.

Really epic how you found the source code and uploaded it here for preservation. My sincere thanks.
