For Mac OS X
Guides on emulating older applications

Hardware Info is a small single-minded program that does only one thing. It returns basic info of a running Mac's hardware, to inform you about what's under the bonnet. Hardware Info is a useful tool for folks who are running Mac OS X on hardware not created by Apple. When you need to know what drivers you might need to apply, to get your Mac OS running correctly. It's also useful for anyone who's purchased a 2nd hand Mac that has arrived without software or documentation, to get a quick look at what hardware is on board.

Hardware Info has a version number of 0.1, it is very basic, rough and unpolished. It announces its open window as "Window" and it sports a button labelled "Button" which does nothing. Yet despite this crudeness, it works very well at what it's designed to do.

Architecture: PPC x86 (Intel:Mac)

Universal binary. Hardware Info runs on a Tiger Mac OS 10.4.x system to 10.6.x.

It may also run on earlier & later Mac OS's, but are untested by this uploader.
