Greg's Buttons is a shareware Control Panel to customise the interface of System 7. It can:

Control Panel is on a Disk Copy 4 disk image (1.4MB) in a StuffIt 3.5 archive.


2nd download v3.8 (Fat) year:1997 minimum requirements: Color Mac and OS 7 to 7.5

Architecture: 68k PPC

System Requirements:
- a colour-capable Mac
- 68020 or better

Note: Although the Control Panel does work in Mac OS 9, some options can cause strange-looking side effects (may happen in Mac OS 8 as well).

Maybe, but its perhaps not compatible with the Appearance Manager that was integral to the Mac OS from version 8.0 onwards and as an Apple distributed add-on for earlier Mac systems. The latter mentions disabling such utilities as Aaron, Kaleidoscope and others because of possible conflicts.

The Macintosh interface altering Aaron & BeView (as yet not archived at the MG) & Kaleidoscope, were all written by Greg Landweber. An interview with this author, here.

Thanks for adding the final 3.8 version to the page, all the same.

Added version 3.8 (Fat) i think it was the last version,might work better in OS 8.
