Guides on emulating older applications

The Geometer's Sketchpad is an "automatic drawer" (a term used in geometry texts) which simulates compass and straight-edge constructions in a plane. However, this is a gross misrepresentation of this application's power. Opening the sample files you will discover it is possible to graph functions, create iterative processes, user parameter sliders (just like in Pacific Tech's Graphing Calculator), and a near Skewes' number of other capabilities.

sketchpad406.sit: Geometer's Sketchpad 4.06 (updated from 4.00) Single-User Edition
gsp407update.sit: Update GSP 4 Single User Edition to 4.06 under Mac OS 8-9
gsp407supdate.sit: Update GSP 4 Student Edition to 4.06 under Mac OS 8-9

Note: These updates are for users who cannot open the zip files provided by Dynamic Geometry. You do not need to use them. Sketchpad 4.06 is the highest version available for Mac OS 9. Version 4.07 is for Mac OS X only.
