Create your own comic strip with Fred Nerd's Comic Strip Factory. Fun to use application. Originally published for the Macintosh 512k and the Macintosh Plus on two 800k disks.
Disk one contains the program and disk two the templates for backgrounds and characters.
JackSwyr recently managed to recieve some files with additional characters.
I first contacted Trici Venola who now lives in Turkey. She was very gracious and even offered me her website of all the comics she created, quite humorous.
Then she got me in touch with David Durkee and he sent me that file I sent you with the "newer" version of it. Included was those old PNG files of the third add-on character disk. He said he was going to burn an image of the disk for me but he never did and I think he's very busy with a lot of other things.
The files from the "third disk" are available as second download.
Its a DC6.2 image compressed with Stuffit3.6. I left the original drawings there in MacPaint format.
The Parts files parsed from MacPaint are included too, of course.

Following up on my last note, the new Comic Strip Factory is now available for sale on the Mac App Store. This is a completely new program, with all new color vector art featuring three favorite characters from the original Comic Strip Factory, recreated, and five brand new characters. Please check it out at the Comic Strip Factory website. I also have a YouTube video showing how it works.
Hi everyone. I'm David Durkee, the original author of Comic Strip Factory. I just wanted to let people interested in it know that a new version of the program is under development and will be released later this year. It's available now in prerelease form at Comic Strip Factory Builds. It has a Facebook page for announcements and sneak peeks at the new characters and features too.
I uploaded my copy of CSF with additional clip art(office days and kid stuff). You can find in the "Visual Art and Graphics" listing. Had problems trying to compress the file. Other than that. The program is working once decompressed. I have the user manual! Trying to scan and convert to PDF.
Should we re-upload CSF-Program and CSF-Data disk for easier download?
I dont want to hijack the OPs upload though.
I almost forgot: Don´t miss to have a look at Trici Venola´s site: http://www.tricivenola.net/Galleries/REAL-OLD-MAC-COMICS/13017048_xXHLQ6#!i=942469712&k=zJcrmnV
Its a piece of Mac history from the early days.
Genius application, thanks so much!
The filename seems to have been to long and got truncated, here is the right one:

There is no file to be downloaded ... too bad
