Focus Magic is a photo sharpening editor used for restoring old photos, and for the restoration or enhancement of out-of-focus photos. The download is a Photoshop Plug-in.

This software works on a PowerPC Mac and on an Intel Mac when used with Rosetta

To install the plug-in after decompressing the downloaded file, copy FocusMagic and FM Help from the FocusMagic Folder to your Photoshop plug-ins/filters folder.

The plug-in supports the file formats that Photoshop (or other supported programs) supports.

Here is a list of programs supported by either the Mac or Win versions of Focus Magic at a time when the Mac version was for PPC only. Check your Mac software against this list (but read the list notes to exclude non-PPC software).

A version only for Intel Macs can be purchased from the publisher’s website.

I have just verified that the SN provided in the download works for me with Photoshop Elements 3 running on a G5 & Leopard. I do not have CS3 to try.

I checked the procedure I drew up by actually following it myself. I will check the SN again.

Provided SN doesn't work, even after setting the date back to june 2004 and restarting.
