Guides on emulating older applications

"A clean, clear, compact, and concise weather Widget. You can easily choose one or five day forecasts and your favorite temperature scale. Fair Weather uses NOAA servers to grab weather data for your chosen zip code. This is great if you prefer National Weather Service reports to the Weather Channel."

This Dashboard widget pulls weather data directly from NOAA servers. As a result, I suspect it's less likely to break in the future than the official widget included with Tiger. (The official widget included with Leopard and newer is, of course, already broken.)

This well-designed widget, unfortunately, won't retrieve the weather information for my location: it falls back to the default zip code. I assume the developer's target was the US residents, so no chances to use it worldwide, apparently.

WOW You called it! Last night the official Apple Weather widget gave up the Ghost! THANKS so much for putting this up. Not as fancy, but very functional.

Cool upload, I occasionally use the official widget out of lazyness to surf to a weather site, so thumbs up for this addition Smile
