Guides on emulating older applications

The Roland/Edirol/Cakewalk FA-101 is a feature-packed 10x10 FireWire 400 audio interface that can handle a full 10 channels of input/output at 24-bit/96kHz. Record and monitor all 10 channels simultaneously in full duplex. Phenomenal audio power for the studio musician! In addition, the FA-101 offers 6-channel recording and playback at 24-bit/192kHz for performance at DVD-A quality.

This is the driver necessary for connecting the FA-101 to a Macintosh computer running OS 9.2.x. It acts as a high end audio interface for QuickTime audio through OMS, MIDI sequencers like Logic and Cubase and MIDI librarians like SoundDiver.

Instructions to install the Mac OS 9 driver can be found in the driver's StuffIt archive as "Readme_E.htm".

The FA-101 requires no drivers to work under Mac OS X 10.3.7 and later. It is a FW400 class-compliant device that works out of the box with Apple's drivers.
