A freeware Photoshop plug-in from Extensis, PhotoNavigator gives a floating pallette to help a user navigate quickly to areas in widely zoomed-in graphic images.
This Photoshop plug-in allows you to quickly and accurately navigate your way around large images. It works by creating a small floating palette thumbnail of your entire image. To navigate around in your open document, you simply click with your mouse or drag the positioning rectangle located inside the palette's thumbnail to the area of the image that you want to go.
Archived as Disk Copy 6.3 image and compressed as StuffIt 5.5 ".sit" archive.
PhotoNavigator is designed to work with Adobe Photoshop 3.0.4 & newer. It also bears a striking resemblance to the "Navigator" palette which appeared in Photoshop from version 4.0 onwards - I would not be surprised to discover if Adobe bought the rights to PhotoNavigator and added it to Photoshop, as it is almost identical to Photoshop's Navigator palette in form and function.
