Dynaware |
CAD software from a Japanese team.
This year's best program for presenting 3-D models is the versatile DynaPerspective 2.0, from Dynaware. It does true 3-D modeling, rendering that includes translucent surfaces, and animation. It also imports and exports files in a variety of formats. Some of the new features include drafting layers, 24-bit color, anti-aliasing, and faster fly-through animations. Elevations and easily manipulated perspective views are automatically generated from the floor-plan model, and animations can be created and played back with just a few mouse clicks.

Requires a 68k Macintosh with coprocessor and at least 256 colors.
Not tested on any real hardware, either a PowerPC or a 68k Mac with coprocessor emulator.
Doesn't seem to be compatible with Basilisk II, nor with SheepShaver or Mini vMac without a coprocessor.
