--->just stupid<---

Please be more polite. All you need to say is that, even though the updater was published in 2014, it can be uploaded because it is no longer provided by the publisher.

In general, regardless of whether an update to purchased software is free or not, the 10 year rule applies to the update If the publisher still supports the software by providing the update. In the case of Data Rescue 3, support is no longer provided so it is OK to upload the 3.2.4 update.

Not having 3.2.4 on here is just stupid. It's a free update. Version 3 came out in 2009. Therefor 3.x.x being free updates are considered acceptable for upload. I'm uploading it.
If prosoft's update servers for the legacy versions were still up, it would update itself. I know this because that's how I got 3.2.4 on my G5 a few years ago.

Looks useful but this User Guide is cropped around the edges... apparently it was reprinted from the actual guide, or maybe off the web. Could whoever did that possibly redo it with better page layout, e.g. bigger margins..?

This is likely the most important Mac Utility that exists.
