Corel Graphics 8 LE is a freeware graphics applications for the Macintosh. Corel Graphics 8 LE includes Corel PHOTO-PAINT and CorelDRAW, which can be used for drawing, painting, image manipulation and page layout. Both PHOTO-PAINT and Draw are fully functional but have a number of limitations over the commercial products (eg: maximum number of open documents, number of formats you can save a file as).

Turn VM off. Can't promise success, but has worked countless times on other SSW 7 software when running under OS9.

Ages ago I tested this on Mac OS 9.2.2 on a Powerbook G3 Lombard. As far as I recall I also had freezing or crash problems. The application does not seem to really work on Mac OS 9.

I really like this. One problem though, whenever "Undo List" is used, my iBook will freeze up. : \

COREL software is really good and even superior to others,
I remember COREL Presentations was much better than Powerpoint,
I learned doing Presentations and pack them including full Satriani songs
packed in just a floppy disc using that one, compression was incredible,

Also Corel Draw, and now I use COREL X painter, and I have not seen anything
compared to that. it's just Amazing!

I must admit I didn't expect this package to be so good. These programs are no Photoshop or Illustrator, but they come close. They offer ninety percent of the things one might expect from graphic software. It took me a few minutes before I found the layers on Photo-Paint because for some reason they're called "objects", but overall Corel Graphics 8 LE delivers.
