Corel Graphics 8 for Power Macintosh is a complete suite of powerful graphics applications and supporting utilities designed for professional graphic designers, illustrators and desktop publishers.

• DL #1: Corel Graphics Suite 8 Installer, version 8.0.0 (August, 1998)
• DL #2: Corel Graphics Suite 8 Update to version 8.0.2 (March, 1999) This updates from versions 8.0.0/8.0.1, it includes a large number of bug fixes and improvements. It must be installed before applying the 8.0.3 update.
• DL #3: Corel Graphics Suite 8 Update to version 8.0.3 (December, 1999) This is the final update for the Corel Graphics Suite 8 series. Significantly, it adds Mac OS 9 compatibility.
• DL #4: Corel Graphics Suite 8 Full CD disc 1 (August, 1998) sourced from the WA

Main Applications:

CorelDRAW 8 a comprehensive application for vector illustration, page layout, graphic design, image editing and bitmap/raster image creation, as well as font and media management.

Corel PHOTO-PAINT 8 a professional image-editing application that offers a high degree of interactivity and integration with third-party applications and plug-ins.

CorelTRACE 8 a bitmap/raster-to-vector tracing utility that converts scanned or manually created bitmap/raster artwork to vector images. CorelTRACE 8 supports several tracing modes, including Outline, Centerline and Woodcut.

Note: The installer (Top DL) is for the main suite install set only, the original 2 CD set (DL's #4 & #5) are required to include additional files, manuals and fonts etc. The CD set was also be labeled "CorelDRAW 8" only (including the CD labels); But it contains the full suite of apps mentioned on this page and CD 1 mounts as "Corel Graphics 8".
