Good, it works for you.

Worth noting, I suppose; On the Mac versions, registration takes place after CWks is installed and you run it for the 1st time. On the Mac versions you don't need to enter anything into the Company & Serial fields. With the Win version here, registration takes place during the install & both Name & Company fields require something to be entered, before proceeding with the installation.

The Serial field however, can be left as "See registration card" for both Mac & Win versions.

A period is OK, but a space didn't work for me. Normally I type "Al Qaeda" when they ask for a company or organization and this worked too.

@OS923: I think I can see how you're managing to get into this situation. Try entering something in both Name & Company fields. I simply placed a period "." in that field, that was enough to get the "Next" button to activate (entering just a "space" in there might work as well).

Anyway. It simply works for me, not to bother entering anything for the serial. I've been doing it this way for longer than I care to remember, on a multitude of setups, Mac & Win - re: Claris products.

Without correct password, it shows a disabled Next button and an enabled Cancel button. I tried it on XP and Windows 7.

Passwords aren't required for this software. They are optional. You could've entered "OS923" and it'd probably work. Leaving the serial field alone as "See registration card" is all you need to do.
