Guides on emulating older applications

The dmg originally posted here actually contained versions 1.56 and 1.65H. I've extracted them and created a Stuffit archive containing both folders. Get it here.

Fixed up the entry a bit and added a stuffit archive of both versions.

I tested the DMG uploaded here: DiskCopy 6.5 can open it on native Mac OS 9. However, you first have to drag the DMG on DMG Mechanic's Raw Device (uploaded on MacGarden).

CDROM Toolkit versions 2.0 and 3.5 in a .dmg

Also, this combination doesn't match the target, as the targeted Mac OS versions can't handle '.dmg' images. Must use '.img' images instead.

Mac Emulators may be able to mount '.dmg' images into the emulated classic Mac OS inside, but have to be formatted first, within.

I had something on my hard disk all the time. May be someone would like to try?
It looks like version 2 at least and it is a ShrinkWrap image.

This archive is somewhat strange. Instead of v2.2 and v3.5, it seems to contain v1.5.6 and v1.6.5.

For version 2, you might try KA299150991 or KA291194991.
