AtChat lets you chat direct with almost anyone on the Internet, anytime. And all you need to locate someone is their email address. And your chat does not go through any central servers.
AtChat uses email to make connections, NOT for the actual chat!
AtChat only uses email address to 'find' people. Once the person is found AtChat sets up a direct Internet connection for the actual chat. This direct connection is IP-IP and is fast and private.
Download #2 contains the installer for the PPC version (also included in the first download).
Download #3 contains the installer for the 68k version.
AtChat requires a Macintosh with OS 7 or 8, an Internet connection and an email address. The version archived in the first download requires a PowerPC processor.
To install, double click the AtChat installer and follow the instructions. When installation is complete you will find the AtChat Folder on your hard drive.
IMPORTANT:
After you have installed AtChat you must setup Preferences before you can chat. Choose Preferences from the Edit menu and enter the required information.
NOTE: If you have Internet Config installed, AtChat will automatically set Preferences from your Internet Config information.
